Info "Cd-Rom" connect to uaescsi.device

Hy Tony,
i note that is not possibile link Cd-Rom to uaescsi.device, only in ide mode or with other controller scsi.

I try both ufficial and beta 3.

It's normal?

On OS3 that procedure to mount the CD should not be done, as i had already mentioned the CD is simply mounted from the CDDrive/Image, if you check the "CDFS Automount CD/DVD Drives" WinUAE will do the automatic installation, without the check instead you need to mount it via software with the old mountlist, the one used on the Real Amiga.

The "Commodore A600/A1200/A4000 IDE" HD Controller is usually not used on WinUAE and only serves when you need to prepare Hardisk and other devices that will also run on AMiGA Real. On WinUAE the best solution is uaehf.device better if in FullDrive/ RDB Mode in this way the partition or disk can be partitioned and formatted in the preferred filesystem.

Most "UAE" devices are special cases and don't need unit specific configuration.

CD = enable uaescsi.device and all CDROM like devices are available. As was already replied in previous post, if you also want automatic mounting (not mountlist), enable also CDFS automount option.

..mmm... i read other post...but i don't sure that function correctly with audio cd.

Possible it my error but:
A) Suppose i don't want use "CDFS automount"
B) Ide Fix 97 on workbench 3.1 it can considered correct test? (For controller ide are correct.)

You're wrong the audio CD works well with both modes, watch carefully the specially attached video that shows the two modes and the execution of the audio tracks on AmigaOS.

There is nothing to investigate and there is nothing emulation specific after ticking uaescsi.device option.

Download some CD audio player from aminet and set correct device and unit number. Idefix has nothing to do with it (unless it also comes with CDA player)

In Attach Files the crash but:

_The Winuae don't genrante the dumb
_I have convinced the problem was link to ide / uae.scsi; i have try more time and crash only uae.scsi

In casual mode i have change the display from direct draw to direct3d and now function.
I have re-chagne to direct.draw and re-function.

i'am sorry but i don't recreate the error.

For now it'all ok.
