Any chance of an option to be able to hear the audio while the WAV Writer is being used? It would make recording custom files with no track times easier. It would also be nice if the WAV Writer only wrote to disk while a track was actually playing.

Excellent job bLAZER !

I discovered BZR Player while looking for a software to replace DeliPlayer (it's not anymore supported by Windows 10 and Windows 7 is discontinued soon). I donated you 50$ a few weeks ago.

Any chance to see BZR Player becoming open source ? A community might help you to fix various bugs and possibly new file formats, new supported OS, etc.
Don't let you software die like Deliplayer around 2007 ...

Anyway, thanks again for the impressive job.

Its indeed a impressive player.

And I always support non-mainstream programs that gives me more or less contact with the developer, and the ability to encourage with donations for example.

I donated a few years ago, and have used the program so much, that I feel compelled to donate again. Thanks bLAZER!

Hi guys. I've started playing around with rewriting BZR Player mostly from scratch. I'm thinking of using Qt Quick which seems like a cool thing to make a modern GUI. I'm thinking more simplistic but nice looking. Maybe something like Spotify. Maybe more customizable for the user as well. I'm open for suggestions and feedback. We'll see how it goes. See ya in 2021

Personally, I enjoy the sleek design of the now defunct k-Jofol mp3 player GUI :

Great news, looking forward to it! Can't give any technical advice so I'll only state my preference for a functional, configurable UI which includes lots of info (I do enjoy Deliplayer) over flashy, "modern", space-wasting and ultimately limited designs.

edit: any new wallpapers planned?

Any chance for a Linux build if you're doing a rewrite with Qt libraries? =)

Good news Blazer !
I liked the the old winamp 2.x interface with the ability to add skins. But whatever you do will be fine. We are here to listen Amiga music

I'm going to donate again !

+1

Will you add your source code on github since it's a free software ? That could be great !

Well, I decided to give Patreon a shot, if people donate I'll get more motivated. I've published an image of the new WIP-GUI. It's visible only for patrons for three days, after that it's public.
So check it out at https://www.patreon.com/bzrplayer
Or not. It's your choice

So, BZR Player's webpage was hosed by ransomware (very sorry to hear that), the Internet Archive didn't do its job this time and all mirror downloads of the software are corrupt zips.
Any chance someone can upload a good copy of v1.0.6, please? I'll inform as many of the other websites that host the app as I can. Cheers!

I've also uploaded 1.0.6 to The Zone. Mine was downloaded from the website 2020-08-13.

Retroplay's archive has an additional settings.ini so presumably it's a custom archive, but other than that, everything's identical. Either one works

Many thanks both. I've let the mirroring sites know where they can get this working copy.

Just FYI MajorGeeks have the same archive that Radertified uploaded https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/det...zr_player.html

Edit: Modland also has a couple of old versions https://modland.com/pub/software/pla.../BZR%20Player/
