So sorry, I'm not clear about one thing, will the final boxed version be the one with the double button?

Yes we are reduplicating every copy in all formats before they go on sale on the 7th Nov. It's marked by the 'GOLD+' build sign on the title screen too.
Thanks. |

Tested on my A1200 + Blizzard 1230 OS 3.1.4.1. Vectorbase must be "Zero".
I installed it in the Wiz folder in DH0: but I find the limit imposed in the installation instructions absurd; wasn't it easier to use an Assign or a PROGDIR: to search for game files ? The game slows dramatically on my Blizzard 1230. Anyway thanks Mutation Software for this AGA game. Hope in a WHDLoad slave that solves slowdown problems and add support for CD32 gamepad, a standard for platform games and others. |

Hi there,
The disk subsystem uses RNC's dosio code etc. and it's the same as used previously on all (well almost all) my other past Amiga titles. There are some limitations with it sure, but generally speaking it's pretty solid well tested and used code. The drive paths are indeed coded to a selection thus... --- dh0:Wiz dh0:Games/Wiz dh1:Wiz dh1:Games/Wiz dh2:Wiz dh2:Games/Wiz Your hard drive's ID may be hd0: or th1: etc. this is OK, but anything after this must match one of the above paths. P.S. It all works fine from compact flash drives etc. too of course. --- ...sorry but as I said previously several times, I am actually unable to please everybody with regards to this and using RNC system AFAIK. The HD install feature is an additional game feature not anything more as explained in the game docs. I'm sure the WHDLoad dudes with vastly more knowledge than myself on this subject will no doubt 'enhance' my game further perhaps, I have no idea on that at least. The game was primarily aimed at 50Hz PAL machines and the blitter is at it's draw limit. Sometimes there may be occasional slowdown with lots of blitter activity on screen at 50FPS. Tin Toy also had the same issue but there is bit more going on in Wiz TBH. I personally as the coder of Wiz, can't get any more out of a stock A1200 regards blitter and cpu routines so that is that pretty much. The game was tested both here and externally on a stock A1200 020, SX1, TF030 + 060 and CD32 (from CF card) and all passed as good with the GOLD+ full build. I hope you like the full final game as it has been modified again since although mostly with regards to CD32 controller input stuff and a few minor tweaks here and there. For us the project is completed and back into reduplication today onwards. It is upto you all soon, as it's potential players; to decide if we produce any more games in future - time will indeed tell Thanks, Adrian Quote:

@DanyPPC
Is not added support of CD32 joypads already? I mean blue to jump and yellow to change spell? |

Thank you, I have done my 100% best on it and hope many will enjoy the final game in due course. Some won't I guess but that is the way of this world we live in.

Just so you know, all of our other Physical Amiga titles are now SOLD OUT as of this morning which is superb. We will make another batch (all boxed USB as before) shortly after Wiz is released for anybody who missed out OK.
Thank you for your continued support all those that bought a signed copy, it all helps! Cheers, Adrian |

Just because we are on the subject of "sales" would you like to share with us the sales estimates of your three titles TinToy, Castle Kingdom and TommyGun? Personally I am very curious to know how many copies you have sold since they are already in the third sold out.

@AmyMor Not really no. They are usually only made in small batches each time on Amiga. Wiz being new will be quite a few more tho. This is not like the old days, it's a hobby thing ...the money after physical expenses keeps us in wine

Yes even having a fast Amiga means not a lot to the Amiga blitter in reality.

Just to reiterate... we are not handling the actual sales of the forthcoming CD32 version on Physical CD-ROM and it will be supplied in minimal packaging with NO fancy artwork or freebies like the other Physical games we provide OK. The release on CD32 [Edit: now cancelled as of 06/11/2020] was very last minute developed and arranged considering we had no plans earlier to support it directly. At least it should serve to keep some players that want Wiz on CD32 happy. We wanted to do our bit and help keep the Amiga scene a happy place so we did a deal to bring it to you Thanks, Adrian Last edited by Adrian Cummings; 06 November 2020 at 11:55. |
