hello.
I have copy my fanzine backup on EAB server, but i don't know if they are visible. If not, can you make visible directory?

Turran made all "~Uploads" folders visible when the server changed from "EAB File Server" --> "Amiga File Server".

You noticed huh? There was only anonymous users on so I though I could do a vmware upgrade without anyone noticing =)

Usually I upgrade one node, migrate the FTP to it and then upgrade the other one with no downtime, but migrating the FTP, because of its 8TB disk, takes a few hours so I thought I could slip it through.. guess not =)

Its up again by the way

don't know if it's the right thread...
if i want to download something from grandis.nu/eabsearch using google chrome
(for example /GameBase Amiga 2/Games/D/Driller.zip), i get this message:

if i click on "...öffnen" (="open" in english),
firefox starts (which is my main browser) and firefox downloads the file... wtf?!?

Then use a descent FTP program like FileZilla or similar, not your browser to download things from the file server.

and why do i need to install a ftp program for simply downloading things which used to work in browsers for years?
i do nothing regarding ftp, only downloading. i'm not a fan of installing redundant software, especially on windows...
