Scores/Instruments for Sonix
Hello everyone. I have just installed my old amiga hard drive into pc for use with winuae and have found my old favorite prog Aegis Sonix version 2.0. Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find scores and/or instruments. I have trawled through Aminet and every other Amiga site I could find and also used all the search engines available but could fine next to nothing. Any suggestions or info much appreciated.

Hi there.
I'm new here, and i can see that this is an old post, but i happen to be an old Sonix fan myself, i i have TONS of instrument disks (original amiga disks!!) laying around. I actually still have my old Amiga 1000, and 2000 just waiting to be set up again. Is there anything specific you were looking for? |

A reply after a whole year
I am not looking for anything in particular. Mainly just stuff to listen to and perhaps some quality insturment samples. I used to have a few PD disks with tunes on but most of these have disappeared. I used to get music books from the library and copy note for note the score into sonix (mostly with a piano sample) and then listen to the files in the background when using my Amiga. |

I have about 20 sonix instrument / music disks from 17-Bit / Quartz PD. Would you like any of these uploaded to the zone?

That would be great. Much appreciated.
Another prob though. Just reinstalled Winuae and got everything back up and running but now sonix opens in a weird screenmode and is unusable. I used to have a small prog that could force apps to use a certain screenmode but can't find it Edit. Found it in my c directory. Tool is called modepro. Last edited by BigB; 21 May 2006 at 20:07. |

In the Zone you will find Sonix Data 1-9, Sonix Instruments 1-5 and Sonix Jukebox 1-5. I cant testify to the quality of the instruments or the music as I'm not a sonix user myself.
have fun anyway Edit: You could try using 'Ambush' for your screenmode problem, I dont know if that would help though |

Tried a few of those disks, they all seem to have corrupt bootblocks (block 880 checksum error).
Anyone have good dumps of them? |
