Indivision AGA MK3

Got this from Jens.

Hi,

Indivision AGA MK3 is in it's early prototype stage. There's a good
chance that mass-production begins this quarter. No need to pay insane
amounts on eBay - please communicate this wherever you're active in the
Amiga world.

kind regards,

Yes I believe, Jens aims to make a single Mk3 model for all AGA Amigas.

Will this one include 100Hz output for monitors that don't support 50Hz? This is a killer features on the ECS version but as I understand it the Indi AGA currently doesn't support it (this is why I held off on getting one).

Apparently it will be getting RTG based on the Amiga Reloaded wiki page.

http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/Commodore_A1200_Reloaded

Or perhaps this is only for the version that is integrated into the Reloaded. Let's wait and see.

Yes. May make sense since they own Picasso96 now...

Doesn't feature RTG or Graffiti unfortunately but I guess if you get a WARP 1260 it won't matter much

Well that's cool, it was also talked about being made available for the Mrk 2 but that never happened unfortunately.

Personally at this point I think RTG is the way to go.

Sorry but could someone say what Graffiti will do?
Is it hi res Workbench but quick or will it also allow RTG games?
I only went as far as a multisync monitor back in the day.

I am thinking that a Mk3 and TF1260 could be a nice cost effective 'ultimate Amiga' for me.

Graffiti is basically a 'chunky' mode for AGA which should be faster for displaying PC style frame buffer graphics. The problem with Graffiti is that games have to be coded to use it so it's very limited.

That's why I said RTG is the better option going forward.
