But Powermonger 2, Moonstone, Parasol Stars, Prince of Persia, Eye of the Beholder, Perihelion and others might get in the top 5 depending on the mood. |

Kick Off 2 - still so much to learn on this game
Premier Manager - Simple to pick up and play and great multi-player experience Treasure Trap - Amiga's best puzzler similar to the classic Ultimate isometric games Wings - simple game but the diary element raises to a whole new level Rocket Ranger - Authentic B movie feel, atmospheric, wow factor then and now As Marcuz says - can change, but the above 5 will always be considered classics. I love Monkey Island and Fate of Atlantis, but prefer the PC versions of these due too enhanced music, graphics, speech (on Indy) Was close to putting Escape from Colditz in too, but Treasure Trap just edged it |

This thread reminded me that a lot of the games I liked worked better on accelerated (and/or AGA) Amigas.. (Frontier, Gunship 2000, Syndicate, XTR, Slam Tilt etc..) but ok here's the A500 list:
1. Kick off 2 (by far) . .. ... 2. Player Manager 3. Lotus - Turbo Challenge 4. Monkey Island 5. Wayne Gretzky's Ice Hockey ;-) Runners up.. Monkey Island II Hybris (Yes must be the nostalgia factor here, but one of my first shootemup experiences on Amiga. Was used to C64) |

Far too many...
Dungeon Master would be up there - the first real dungeon crawler I played and I don't think I've found any better. The spell system is fantastic. Bloodwych - similar to the above - played it originally on the C64 and I swore it had a bug that wouldn't let me get any further - the two player element is brilliant Elite 2: Frontier - such a great time sync - just trading or illegally trading to get a better ship and smoosh the pirates - think I got to Dangerous ranking and had a ton of permits but never did get to Elite SWOS - best player manager football game - loved having the teams and the players in there Turrican 2 - the music, the style, everything about it. Fantastic game. Mentions: Kick Off 2 - despites some of it's faults it was a great footy game Dizzy (Treasure Island, Magicland, Fantasy World, etc.) all fantastic games - loved the Dizzy games and from the first time I played Treasure Island Dizzy I've been hooked Chaos Strikes Back - should have been a brilliant game but damn it's hard and confusing Player Manager - as others have said - if it had after touch and a better engine it could have been special Deuteros - really good game - can't get back into it at the moment as I have no idea what I'm doing - I got really into it when I originally had it on the Amiga |

I am now collating all the results to see which games got the most votes. Might take me a couple of days. Surprised at how few people mentioned Rainbow Islands so far. Personally I am a big fan of that game but it wouldn't make my top 5. Maybe other people feel the same
I thought it was perfect as it was. I didn't even notice it wasn't the KO2 engine tbh. I would worry the goalkeepers would be too good with the KO2 engine. You could get some easy goals in Player Manager at times which made it truer to real life. For me the best way to play was to play "in position" . While you were still young (and fast) you could takeover at times and really make a difference |

Impossible for me to say so I can only post 5 I loved then and still love now but I;m sure there are many more I haven't played yet that I will love.
Micropose F1GP IK+ Shadow Fighter The Secret of Monkey Island Robocod Too many to list! 5 is too little. I heard some video on youtube the other week where it's one of these youtuber retro gamers types and she got an A600 "haul" and she said some shite like "I know the Amiga has a bad reputation for games...................but" What the hell was she on? I always considered it better than my mates and their shite consoles. I'm biased of course! |

Turrican 2 is the most loved game among EAB users so far
1. Turrican 2 (9 votes) 2. Lotus 1 = The Secret Of Monkey Island (6 votes) 3. Cannon Fodder (5 Votes) 4. Battle Squadron = Gods = Player Manager = Sensible World Of Soccer = Speedball 2 (4 votes) 5. Another World = Chaos Engine = F/A-18 Interceptor = Lemmings = Super Cars 2 = Kick Off 2 (3 votes) (May not be 100% accurate yet, still checking but this is probably right) Turrican 1 only has one vote. Kick Off 2 perhaps the most surprising for me with only 2 votes (Edit : 3 votes - added to table above) (I have included every vote so far incuding most recent ones) Quote:
