Shinobi
No matter which cracked version adf I use on WinUAE, when I press spacebar to do the special move thing, Shinobi just freezes and I cannot move until the clock runs out. Anyone else have this problem?

Actually I was using WINfellow. I just figured out how to use WinUAE and it works fine on that.

I used to use Winfellow as it was a tad simpler to load the kickstarts into. Stupid me.

The other Amiga emulators are only good for people with slow computers, as those emluators (unlike WinUAE) requires much less CPU power.

Ah, right, cheers.
On the matter of Shinobi. Was there a sequel to Shinobi? I'm almost certain as a young kid I played a demo to Shinobi 2 in the early 90's from Amiga Format or Amiga Action. It was one level, Shinobi was white and part of the stage involved fighting over a big truck and it was some sort of junkyard setting. I can't find any Shinobi 2 on planetemu or anywhere else. |

Looked at HOL, seems like there's no sequel.

Ironclaw is correct. Shadow Dancer is definitely "Shinobi 2" so to speak. See here:
http://www.arcade-history.com/index....detail&id=2399 Shinobi is my favorite arcade game You should really play it on MAME32 as it sucks big time on the Amiga (to my disappointment) There's some screenshots of the arcade versions bosses in this thread http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=21860 Last edited by DamienD; 23 September 2006 at 22:59. |

Interesting shots, they look far better.
Shadow Fighter is a hell of a lot harder than Shinobi. |
