Any UAE for G3 Mac running Ubuntu?

Hi all,

Messaging from my "new" G3 right now, running Ubuntu v6.10

Anyway, does anyone know of a self-installing version of UAE that would suit such a machine?

PZ.

Hmm that's odd, UAE is definitely in the mainstream Ubuntu repositories. Are you sure you've enabled the Multiverse repository? I ask this because UAE is also listed under Universe but the tree is empty!

I don't think I have...I don't even know how

Very promising stuff here: http://morgoth.free.fr/ubports/

Shame I've got NO IDEA what he's saying has to be done in order to get it!

That's alright mate no one wakes up in the morning knowing this sort of stuff

Morgoth's backports only seem to contain x86 binaries so I'm pretty sure you are shit out of luck there. Try the official E-UAE PPC Linux binary from http://www.rcdrummond.net/uae/ , if that doesn't work you'll need a crash course in building from source.
