Don't bother. Their ratio policies are simply astonishing. Anything on there is as good as lost.

That's why there are free torrents. You leech them for free and gain upload credit for seeding them. Surely their torrents are well seeded and far from getting lost. Their 1:1 policy doesn't mean that you have to keep that all the time, but you should try to get there to avoid the 'sh*tlist'.

Free torrents, sure i downloaded a 12gb one and for weeks and more it remainded seeding at zero. All the while other sites torrents have been downloaded and seeded.

What is for free doesn't appeal to everyone, i don't want to download crap just so i can get a good ratio and then to delete it. I download to keep and use what i download, whats the point otherwise.

I haven't been back in a long time. Maybe they should revue what files are free. Or make improvements that would allow everyone to enjoy the site, and what it has to offer.

I just wonder how I manage to keep a ratio above 1 on any torrent site. Guess catching the right time to start (free leech weekends) and keep seeding 24/7 till you have a good ratio isn't completely wrong. Anyway I was just referring to the 'good as lost' part.

Pleasuredomes easy for a ratio, All the mame stuff is always free, Its also high traffic too, so just grab mame stuff, leave it a few days, then grab any amiga stuff. n(or whatever else you fancy)

Sorry my post should have been directed to UG more than PD i got mixed up. I see i have upload many gb to PD.

I can no longer find cookies or login deatils for UG. Meaning that must be the one i dislike. I cannot go there and check for the same reason so if UG has changed its ways, i appologise to UG here. I must have been so pissed off with UG at the time, and would be still if it is still the same.

Pleasuredome i have not a problem with must be an ok site, as i have it bookmarked and cookies. While UG is shite if it is the same as it was when i last visited it in march'09.

As my objection is to UG and not Pleasuredome (misdirected) i will cease to post onthis thread. Unless that is i have something else nice to add for pleasuredome.

Yeah it's a bit harder to keep a good ratio on UG, but there are the Golden Torrent weekends, so it's also not too hard to get at least 0.3 (which is all the ask for). They delete accounts after a month of inactivity (IIRC) which is rather harsh, but then again you only need to log in once a month...

Why doesn't someone who have the full sets just redirect the Amiga torrents back to another tracker? This way everyone can get in on the action.

Why would anyone go through the bother, even asking such a thing tells people you have no interest in sharing it.

If Pleasuredome was invite only or completely private I could understand, but it isn't.

Personally I don't have any problems keeping good ratio (above 1.5). Just don't leech stuff there aren't any other leechers.

When I had that problem, I was trying to get a particular file (I forget which now), and somebody had said it could be got with emule.

However, I managed to get it from somewhere else eventually, so I wasn't too bothered.

Most likely router settings, if you can't connect. However you should only use eMule when you can't get it anywhere else, because it can take weeks to get something. So not recommended

pleasuredome ain't that bad, i've only downloaded amiga sps and the 3do manuals collection so far, but somehow i'm a bronze user with a ratio of 4.16? go figure lol
