Was the Emulator II synth used for Unreal music?

If you listen you can hear sound effects from the game. Water and bird sound at 5:30

It would be interesting to know if this machine was used or if im mistaken and it isnt even the same sounds

Ah synthmania one of my fav channels. Unreal had tracked music if I am not mistaken.

My guess is they used the samples and not the real synth which was and is common practice. Maybe it comes from a sample CD. Can't tell the difference anyway in a track.
