WinUAE 1.5.2 flew unexpected crashes

Hi Toni,All

During "hevy work" with WinUAE 1.5.2 I have some crashes. Some logs and dumps attached below. And: Crash1 was happen when I pressed alt+tab and switch from winuae to windows, Crash2 when hardfile was removed "on fly" during emulation and if I good remember I pressed "reset" button,
Crash3 during emulation pressed Amiga, Amiga, Control, Crash4 just crash by pressed reset button. If I good remember all crashes was in full screen mode.

I hope those logs are usefull.

P.S. Thanks Toni for great work

Thom

All dumps are similar. Memory allocation returning out of memory (all in MSVC c library which is weird because it shouldn't cause crashes..)

Either WinUAE is leaking huge amounts of memory or there is some driver/utility/something doing something really stupid.

The system I use is "almost" Amiga Forever 2008. Almost because some parts of software was removed. I building a my customised OS based ona AF.
By this moment System is very clear, only about crash4 (I'm not prety sure) was added Scalos Beta.
Any information can help to debug?

I meant Windows-side driver or something seems to be causing this issue. (leaking memory)

Keep task manager open and check if free memory or memory used by WinUAE is slowly increasing more and more.

At start WinUAE gets 165MB and increasing very slowly in teens of kb but after first reboot amount of memory is ~250 MB, second ~336MB, and next: 421, 507, 592, 667, 763, 848, 933, 1019, 1104, 1189, 1275, 1360 and then crashed, log and dump attached.

I forgot, Vista is modified by vLite 1.2 beta (www.vlite.net)

Confirmed. Another side-effect of new quick display mode switching (without reopening window or screen). Big temporary display buffer was allocated when RTG->native mode switch happened but it was never freed..

This problem affect to 1.5.1 and 1.5.2, 1.5.0 works fine here.

Of course because 1.5.1 added following:

- windowed mode "instant" switching implemented (this was planned for 1.5.0 but it would have delayed release 2-3 more weeks)
