How to configure AtapiMagic under AmigaOS 3.2

Hello friends, I have difficulty integrating AtapiMagic correctly into AmigaOS 3.2. I copied the AtapiMagic file to "LIBS: modules". Now I have to adjust my startup sequence. Obviously I'm making a mistake. The Atapi.readme says:

Quote:
To be able to use it, just open your Startup-sequence with a text
editor where you will find:

If Exists C:LoadModule
C:Version exec.library version 46 >NIL:
If Warn
C:LoadModule ROMUPDATE
EndIf
EndIf

Just modify those six lines with the following ones:

If Exists C:LoadModule
C:Version exec.library version 46 >NIL:
If Warn
C:LoadModule LIBS:modules/AtapiMagic ROMUPDATE
Else
C:LoadModule LIBS:modules/AtapiMagic
EndIf
EndIf

Save the Startup-Sequence and reboot your machine for the changes to
take effect.

I found this entry in my startup sequence:

Quote:
Version exec.library version 47 >NIL:
If Warn
LoadModule L:System-Startup ROMUPDATE
EndIf

I have now adjusted it like this:

Quote:
If Exists C:LoadModule
C:Version exec.library version 47 >NIL:
If Warn
C:LoadModule LIBS:modules/AtapiMagic ROMUPDATE
Else
C:LoadModule LIBS:modules/AtapiMagic
EndIf
EndIf

But that is obviously wrong. Does anyone know how to properly configure AtapiMagic under AmigaOS 3.2?

Cheers

With AtapiMagic you can integrate a total of 4 HDDs. You can find it on aminet.

Looks like the issue could be checking for version > 46 or 47 of exec.

Plus, for 3.2 be aware of Loadmodule l:Systemstartup ROMUPDATE

You could ask Ignacio via email directly, too. He’s involved in testing 3.2.
