Separate PPC
Toni,
Maybe it would be better to have 2 separate WinUAE versions, 68K and PPC, so the new PPC settings don't/can't intermix with 68K settings (MMU, JIT). Or maybe just have 2 panels, 68K and PPC, with only the settings PPC needs. Quickstart: Pick 68K or PPC. Then it takes you to proper settings panel. 68K same as always been. PPC have the required settings already in place(computer, CPU, RAM, accelerator, etc.). Bare minimum settings. Just allow for a few tweaks. Just a thought to prevent more problems like I had..... |

OS3.9 with WarpOS or Warpup uses 68k and PPC.

Hmmm...PPC is only really enabled manually through the configs. A quickstart BPPC/CPPC might be a solution for you.

No. Never, separate version would become unmaintained immediately after I lose interest with PPC.

Yes but it is not exactly same thing because it would have become obsolete in few years anyway. (=PCs getting fast enough)
