Desperately looking for Amiga diskmags, such as

R.A.W.
Zine
Stolen Data
etc.

Where can I download them as adf-file ?

Up to now I only found the Eurochart on Warlock's
ADF-Site.

Please help !!

Disk Mags

There are some on Exotica ( http://hangar18.campus.luth.se/exotica/ ), under Nostalgia. None of the ones you ask for, though.

Aminet is a good resource for diskmags.

Let me know what issue numbers you are looking for and I'll have a look on CDs.

well ...
one classic url link will be cool

first copy the url of the thread you want to link:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=41

then remove extra info about your current connection
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php3?s=xxxxxxxxxthreadid=41

now you have one simplified url link for the thread you wanted !
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php3?threadid=41

that's all folk !

Hey Khephren,

on Aminet I only found files that work on Amiga's, but my PC cannot handle those LHA or
DMS files.

Generally I'm looking for all issues of R.A.W., Stolen Data and Zine, as I do not have any
issue at all. But these files must be in adf-format, otherwise I do not know how to get
them to work.

Thanks for your help !!

Dms and Lha are two amiga compressed files format.
you can easily convert these types of files to adf format with xdms.exe or lha.exe programs.

if nobody posts them before tonight, i'll do it.

Is there a new version of xDMS that works on Win2k? The version I have refuses to work, probably due to the crap MS-DOS enviroment that Microsoft use.

ADFs

Talking about using Amiga files on the PC, there is a neat little utility, called ADF View, that integrates ADFs within Windows. You can double click ADF files in Windows Explorer and it opens it like a directory. You can then copy files out.

See http://www.viksoe.dk/adfview/

LHA & DiskMags

LHA is available for the PC and can be implemented into WinZIP under the configuration menu, simlpy download LHA for the PC and set it up in WinZIP - BAM! you can handle LHA compressed files on your PC.

Just click utils at www.commodore-ale.com and look under compression (I think)

Now, about those DiskMags....ALE will be adding LSD, GrapeVine and many more magazines to the archive very shortly indeed so you might want to keep an eye on our site
