@Turran,
Is there a way to keep automatically the last whdload package of a game only? example: 4DSportsDriving&MasterTracks_v1.1_1461 4DSportsDriving&MasterTracks_v1.2_1461 Could 4DSportsDriving&MasterTracks_v1.1_1461 be automatically deleted when v1.2 has been downloaded? (for the moment, I delete each obsolete file by hand) Thanks for your work and thanks again for your answer! ;-) |

Hm, not easely as it creates a new folder to download into each time. I would have to rewrite a lot of it so that it downloads into the same folder every time and deletes older versions, so not that easely, sorry.
Plus, it does not know that 1.2 is an update of 1.1 today. It just detects it as a new file that is not yet downloaded, so I would have to add a match of a previous version to know if its an updated version, which will causes a lot of headakes.. Quote:

I've written some code in Purebasic that does this. It downloads Retroplay's dat files from the EAB server, parses the XML extracting the file names and then compares them to the WHD archive folders. It then FTP's the new LHA/LZX files and deletes / backs up the old files. It was the simplest way to do it.
