Full Contact Intro Silhouette - From The Kickboxer Movie?

I always wondered if Team 17 used Jean Claude van Damme's silhouette from the Kickerboxer movie, maybe a bit modified. Looks pretty similar. Are there any infos about it? Of course it's obvious, that this game is inspired by the movie.

Old news, already when the game just came out, me and my buddies knew it was from the movie . And I ripped it from the disk once, it was a standard single colored IFF FORM animation.

This is no news, i noticed this too right from the beginning. I only wonder if they re-enacted this scene or if it's really JC's silouhette. You find no infos in the manual.

If it's re-inacted, then they did a damn good job ... but personally I think it's from the movie, no reinactment. I think I remember the movie having a bluish back when he did this "kata" or whatever stuff like this is called... so was easy for the Full Contact makers to rip...

Don't mess with teh Damme!

Then Team 17 should have mention it somewhere. Copyright infringement blaba.

Anyway, Bomb the Bass used samples from The Splash Band's "Assault on Precinct 13" remix for Xenon II. Probably nobody cared about it, or they never heard from the games (Full Contact and Xenon II).

Guess they were simply hoping no one would ever notice.

Oh well,,, kata is kata.... doing special movements over and over again in non-fighting manner... so used the best word I could come up with ....... "kata".... even though it was not Karate
