New build of Blitz. Changed the handler (easy to see the "hack"). On -windowmode, going out (esq), detaches the mouse, then repeat to activate mouse handler again.

Intuition-mouse handler test code (thousands of times repeated/shared everywhere) that I adapted to my own. I used the same concept to mod BlitzQuake.

Atomaton sound - my DCO/Waveform tracker...(OCS)
(I'm actually considering NOT implementing sample-support ) http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmqed3tH27mRk5G1dMD1TCg Main focus right now is the GUI (or rather to being able edit the all the params with mouse and keyboard). At the moment I don't really care how it looks, as long as it is usable. I will however give that aspect a go later on. Saving and loading (patterns, songs and presets) are beginning to feel lika a need. I've never done that before and don't really have any experience with any of the libraries so what might take some time, but I guess the learning part is almost as fun as making music I was fooling around with hardware-modulation yesterday, and that was ALOT of fun, actually. BTW, does anyone have an idea how to record movies in real-time in WinUAE? It was hellish slow when I tried it. Last edited by riksfetto; 31 January 2014 at 00:20. |

Sounds really good. I like what I hear on the youtube vid.
Regarding the slow recording in WinUAE: maybe the chosen codec and/or the settings needed too much cpu power. I always record with a low compression codec and and do the final encoding "offline" with tools like ffmpeg/vlc. |

CPU @10% with full frame (uncompressed), and still slow. Well, nevermind. I'll start a new thread on that topic perhaps.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm not driven by it but I do like the conversation. (Mostly I keep things my hobbyprojects to myself to make sure that I'm not influenced by others. Or perhaps I'm only shy ). |
