Warlords is amazing, one of my all time favorites on Amiga. You MUST try it Angus
@mai Do you have v2.04, can't find it anywhere in TOSEC. Or did you stumbled on this on while doing your truly great job in "TOSEC Correction". |

There was always some debate going on regarding whether 2.04 was actually valid and 2.03 was the last version. Even when I spoke to the developer one year (trying to convince him to make Warlords II for the Amiga - would if I gave him $50,000) he couldn't remember
In the end I ran FusionPPC on the Classic and installed the MAC version of WarlordsII. I was actually very disappointed with WL2. I thought, jesus, they F'd the game up totally. Warlords lacks in cpu AI but is a nicer game to look at and was indeed many months of fun. I developed many rules for human players to make the game harder, also mucked around with the variables editor (that incidently won't function with the 2.04 version) to change which units and strength etc were created where. What was sad was no one created a map editor, even though I brought the subject up a few times |

Okay, I will try and make that happen. Gents, I read the review of the game on the AGDB and its a bit luke warm, suggesting that there isn't much tactical/strategic depth, is that fair comment? |

Hmm, there isn't really much strategical depth in it. Mainly you only decide which units you produce (strength/turns) and which cities to attack. However the different special locations on the map provide quite a bit of motivation and also rushing through you enemies cities with your hero is fun Just have a look for yourself
