Renegades Deluxe gets released! - Page 4

Just got this photo from Graham Thomson, who has helped out enormously on this mini release.

There will be a CD32 version, but that means it will just run on the CD32, there are no added extras or bells and whistles, just a simple way of playing this game on your CD32.

The final .adf contains a readme file and icons for hard drive installation.

Oh wow!! This truly slipped off my 'to-do' list! I have been concentrating on co-creating Scourge of the Underkind to take care of this.

I will have to make the CD32 version available for people to download and play, like I say though, there won't be any enhancements, just the game.

I designed a mini floppy release for Renegades Deluxe too, with little jewel case etc, but again, it's finding the time to get it finished. Once I get it all done though I will post any announcements to this page

I would love to have it, I really like those tiny releases.

Yeah man! It was costing me £100 a year

That would be ok if I was in full-time employment, but I am not anymore so it had to go. I just forgot to add a download to this thread for anyone wishing to get Renegades.

I really would love to make a mini release of the game for those that want a physical box, maybe even a big-box version, who knows. But for now I shall provide a download link for anyone wishing to download/play it.
remember, you need to play it with a friend! I know it's on Amigalive too, so if you want to play with someone online you can do so.

I shall be uploading the .iso for anyone who wants it for the CD32 this weekend.

I will cater for those who cannot do so at some point in the future, and offer boxed copies etc.

If you play the game and have any feedback please leave it here, I would love to know thoughts etc and especially if you record videos of battles/duels.

Please keep in mind that the programmer of Renegades (Kevin Darbyshire) is very likely never going to touch the game again, so any suggestions for improvements cannot be taken on board.
Kevin has told me to tell people if they wish to alter and adapt the source code for the original game for their own projects they can do so...I think it's on the original disk. If it's not then I will make it available for download in the near future.

It seems there's some sort of problem with my itch account. I have sent them an email in the hopes that they can make it all work once again...if not then I will look at another way of distributing this game so people can actually play it.

Ok folks, I had to start an entirely new ITCH profile to overcome the problems there (god knows what that was) but here are the games for you to download:

The original 1995 release:

Remember, the Amos source code is on the original 1995 disk, the programmer, Kevin Darbyshire, has given permission for people to play around with it if they so wish.

I am going to venture a guess that it was flagged as illegal content. You uploaded an old game in a known rom format... that looks a lot like spreading warez. The description won't help a lot since people who moderate the site likely don't know what a "P.D. game" is.
