Alternatives for FTPMount (or a solution to a problem with it)

I am currently using FTPMount 1.4 from 2003 to mount an FTP account as a drive for my Amigas

It works almost 100% for me, but there is one thing I really would like. The thing is, the software in question doesn't reload directory listing again unless there hasn't been written something to it. So if you are in /DIR1, go to /DIR2 and go back to /DIR1, the DIR1 listing still shows the same even if someone has added something in it while you were in DIR2

The only way to refresh a directory listing is to write something to it. This is not a bug or a user error, it's mentioned in the documentation and the author wasn't going to change that anyway.

So, any better alternatives for mounting an FTP as a drive or a patch or something for FTPMount?

I think the problem isn't in FTPMount but in Workbench itself. There is some sort of update or refresh option in the pull-down menu system but it has been a while since I tried it. Maybe FTPMount doesn't respond.
