Hello,
The Catweasel MK 4+ (pci) allows you to transfer ADF files to a real Amiga floppy disk and transfer a real Amiga Floppy disk to ADF image. It is a PCI card with Windows software (other platforms supported by third party drivers) Features Read/write real Amiga floppy disk's on a Windows PC Use a real Amiga keyboard on a PC Use a real Amiga mouse/joystick on PC Ideal for WinUAE and Amiga Forever - transfer all your Amiga floppies over to the PC Empty SID chip socket for realistic C64 sound emulation |

It does indeed but be warned that you might have problems with it.
There have been times where mine didn't write disks that could be read on my Amiga. Currently mine is working again - I'm using the latest drivers but an older version of the Imagetool software. From my experience the newest version of the Imagetool software is absolute shit - reading and writing Amiga disks fails. |

So, that´s the problem ha???
I was wondering why mine doesn´t work, so it has to do with the image tool software, can you tell me how to get it to work? |

Here is the Catweasel drivers page: http://siliconsonic.de/t/bin/ Just download the ImageTool Hotfix and use it instead of the one you already have. |

Hello.
Im running Catweasel 4 plus on a Windows XP 32 bits. It works perfect. It is not the easiest installation, but you get there. You must verify that your PC disk drive "A:" is compatible with Catweasel. "A lot of ppl will ignore this part" Running games with my old TAC-2 is a dream come true. GL |

Mine writes back adfs to floppies without problems. They read perfectly on my 500. But note that you need a secial trick tough, to get it writed correctly. Search in this forum about an explanation i wrote long time ago regarding writing issues with the catweasel.
I haven't tried the latest driver yet, because now i haven't the time to do a500 gaming and hence, less disks i use. But this weekend will try the new driver and told if the trick is still needed or is gone. I recall reading that jens was working on that issue long ago. Feel free to ask any question! |
