Create nuove def Icons per AROS One x86 e AROS One 68k:

In the first Screenshot the Def Icons dedicated to Music and Archive files, the Icons are in the DualPNG format with two faces and mirror effect.

Click on the two small screenshots to see the icon animation.

In progress the new Def Icon dedicated to Graphics and Video

You can find the latest version of AROS One x86 in the first page of this post, available in an ISO-CD version and an Image-USB version.

OWB: Dowload and Play MP3 with MPlay (script)

Today since OWB could not play an MP3 from the Amigaremix site I wanted to experiment with an external player, the only one that worked well in this circumstance was MPlayer, but I had problems with larger MP3s, MPlayer needs a high stack to play MP3 or some video formats.

On OWB if I'm not missing something it seems to not be able to give a stack to external tools, nor can it run tools with their icon and thus Tooltypes.

In the end I managed to give the stack to MPLayer creating a script and everything worked perfectly even running multiple MP3s, the MP3s played also remain available on files in RAM, see attached video

Yes I think it is better to point to the site, I created the site on purpose because many users could not download my Distributions because they clicked on old links found on various portals on the web.

As for AROS x86 installed also on AROS 68k my little Application "Shutdown" created in Arexx to be executed through a proper icon or from WBDock, see screenshot, the little Arexx Script through request allows to close the Workbench.

If you are referring to the theme pack shown in the video, it will be available in the next update that will be released soon.

I'm waiting for the release of the new Datatype and the new Multiview that will allow you to save any image in PNG and ILBM, at the moment on AROS One all softwares have been updated with newer versions, HERE find other useful info

In the video is shown AROS One 68k but the procedure is the same also on AROS One x86

Hi, I've just downloaded and burnt ISO image, the DVD boots up fine and I get the blue start screen, the problem I have is the mouse pointer is stuck in top left of screen and won't move? Any ideas please?

It could be a problem with the DVD Burned badly, have you tried to burn the USB version to burn on a pendrive?

On which Screen does the pointer get stuck, can you take a screenshot?

My advice for the first time is to install AROS One x86 on a Virtual Machine, VMWare ( easy) or VirtualBox.

The USB/DVD Live is already operational you can use it as a HD

@Amigasystem It doesn't like my wireless ASUS mouse, I swapped mouse for a wired MS mouse and it worked fine ;-)

I use Wireless Mouse and they work fine, try to change USB port
