Which game would you prefer to play while waiting for XCopy to copy Project-X Disk 1?

In an effort to raise spirits on this meandering board I have devised a poll for the never ending question...

While copying Project-X using X-Copy which game would you play to pass the time? Project-X used to show all sorts of nasty errors while copying so these are some ideal solutions. Please pick your favourite!

Backgammon:

Curling:

Tesco Home Delivery Van

George Best:

Dog Faced Bat

Big Ted

Firstly, Project X first release version was Copylock so Xcopy wont copy it
Secondly, Project X Special Edition was PDOS MFM and Xcopy wont copy that either.

So what I'm trying to say is, don't bother trying to copy Project X, and then you can play whatever board game you like to your hearts content...... *cough*

I had a working Copy of Project-X using X-Copy and Cyclone. No idea if the later disks worked but I could certainly get up to the 2nd boss with it.

Yeah but you guys should assume from my seasoned Amiga knowledge that I meant that

And besides, if I want to sit and play Dog Faced Bat while I watch XCopy refuse to copy Project-X (without Cyclone) then I can!

as to what game i would play while my disk's nibbled away....

simply SNES on the A600 (i had 2 miggies in them days)

but if its a board game.....

close one.... either... monopoly or space-crusade (yes the boardgame! lol)

they are not limited! They are.. 'selective'

You've obviously never played Dog Faced Bat with Vodka forfeits. You should see that bat stagger, he's blind enough without the booze.

from the list above, clearly the curling baby face seems the most interesting way of spending time...closely followed by teddy bear (closing your eyes you may get the warm feeling of the blondie, and your imagination may compensate for the hot part)...apart from that your list sucks!

I used to play my gameboy back then if the miggy was busy, or at a push id use tetraCopy and play tetris while it nibbled away, Now id play on the psp i guess

Xcopy/Cyclone/BurstNibbler were my main copy programs but tetracopy sometimes was able to sucessfully nibble tracks what others struggled with even if it did take a few read attapts.

1 game that I know Cyclone struggles with is Damage, never ever got disk2 to copy perfect. MortalKombat 1+2 were abit hit an miss as well, and needed a good quality disk to backup onto.

i bought cyclone II when i had amiga 500 with external disk, but i had no friend with amiga and/or original games! so i couldn't use it like i would have liked to. alas. there was some magic in it that is lost with the adfs and the games everywhere. i'm sure that while nibbler was going on, maybe on disk 5 of Elvira Mistress of the Dark i would have played Corridor Football. basically you have a little plastic ball or aluminum foil ball or a plastic disk 1/3 cm tall and 3,5 cm large and a corridor 1,80 m large and 3,2m long, L shaped if you want, and completely empty but for a telephone desk. 3 doors, some closed some open, along of it, 2 main doors at the extreemes and one more that's the entry door. 1 brother to play with. the score is 10 goals. if you have also an old aunt to put in some casual scream, you are done. nice game, extremely portable. best played with socks on.

Yeah you can mix em up. I once drove a Tesco Van into a pile of Dog Faced Bats. It was on ice too, and was very similar to curling.
