Games reusing the same audio
Played Bubble and Squeak today and I've notice it has the same audio track on it's title screen as Wembley International Soccer. Since both games are by Audiogenic I guess that's not surprising as they just reused the same song.
Anyways, are there other games like these which share the same songs or even graphics? |

Turrican games share some tracks, maybe rearranged.
AFAIR the "Beast" lemmings level has Shadow of the Beast music. Graphics are also shared (Awesome & Beast level) at least the backgrounds. Graphcis are shared between the first level of Chaos Engine and a higher level of Chaos Engine 2. I guess few people could stand playing CE2 that long so few people noticed |

Codemasters got lazy with Magicland dizzy on C64 and put the wacky darts music in
also on C64, level one of Neverending story II sounds a lot like Catalypse And again on C64 Hammerfist music used as First Samurai loader tune. Nothing comes instantly to mind for Amiga so far. |

More from the bitmaps:
Chaos Engine ball spitting monsters are borrowed from Cadaver (same graphics guy Dan Malone) Magic Pockets reuses the same chalices as in Gods. Except that there is no iron chalice, only 2 different chalices (same graphics guy Mark Coleman) Tiertex reuses the same crap team to create crap games which reuse the same shitty frame rate and washed out palette |

Wrath of The Demon's music (by David Whittaker) sounds awfully like Shadow of the Beast. Not the same patterns but definitely the same instruments.

Not strictly a reused asset but the Bitmaps referenced 'Nashwan' in a few of their games, which was apparently a race horse in the 80s. Last edited by Dastardly; 23 February 2022 at 23:38. |
