Best ever Amiga platformer?
I really like Creatures and Ruff 'N' Tumble as I think they have good "playability" and graphics.
Maybe not my favourites, but get played more than the others as they look good (something important to me, sometimes). Sooooo....what's your all-time-best-of-all platformer on the Amiga? PZ. |

I like SOTB 3 the most. But I think Prince of Persia and Flashback are coolest.

NZS, Rainbow Islands, and maybe even Robocod are amongst my faves.
Flashback was an odd winner in those votes, considering it pushes the bounds of what defines a "platformer"... and a personal worst for me: Great Giana Sisters |

Arabian Nights. Nice music!
I find it interesting that nobody has mentioned Zool. Back when it was released all the magazines where raving about how it would be the Amiga's "Sonic" Last edited by TikTok; 30 April 2007 at 00:33. |

I've not read the other previous threads discussing this recurring topic, but for 2-player platform co-operation, at least on all the games I've played, I really don't think you can beat Bubble Bobble. For gameplay, anyway.
Spent many hours with a mate of mine trying to get past all 99 levels, working together, only to fall at the final hurdle, the end-of-game baddie which was really hard to kill! Never did complete it... and now I live in the USA so I doubt I'll ever play this game with that same friend of mine ever again :-( Who else likes Bubble Bobble? I'll team up with them for a go at finishing it!! ;-) |

My avatar used to be Bub (same as Paul_s's Bob avatar but green and the right way around). Think I should change it back really As for other cool 2 player platform games Pang and Rod-Land are also quite fun and very good arcade conversions |
