Sprite Channel Question

A quick question....

The Blitz Basic manual states the following:

The Amiga hardware has 8 sprite channels, standard 16 wide 3 colour sprites require a single channel, 15 colour sprites need two and sprites wider than 16 will require extra channels also.

Does this mean that I can use a total of 4 channels to throw a 15-colour, 32px-wide sprite at my screen? Logically, I suppose it does, but I thought I'd ask in case anyone has done this already.

Thanks.

Cheers, Coagulus. I'm re-writing GogoPogo and replacing the the main character's bob approach with sprites to make it run a bit quicker.
