Reshoot-R: does it work on FS-UAE?

Hi,

i have the .lha file of Reshoot-R. I tried it on FS-UAE after updating the database, but it isn't detected...i added into the kickstarter folder both the skick346.lha and kick40068.A1200 files as described here: http://www.whdload.de/games/ReshootR.html but the game isn't detected

Is it possible to fix it?

Why don't u just add it manually.. works for me!!

and i put into the kickstart folder the 2 files named kick40068.A1200.RTB and skick346.lha.
Then i pushed UPDATE GAME DATABASE

I tried it: the 1st time it started correctly, but the joypad wasn't detected. So i closed the emulator manually and when i started it again, i wasn't able anymore to play the game... every time i start the game, is appears this screen:

Check the Kickstart ROM section in your Config file. There should be a AMIGA Kickstart ROM. Actually you just use the build in AROS ROM.

The easiest (and legal) way to get the file you need is to buy it from Cloanto. For example their Amiga Forever Essentials is the cheapest way to get the file you need (Kickstart 3.0 or 3.1).

ok first i only would like to try the game in order to know if i like it or not, but i'm not sure i have correctly configured the emulator...
Is the configuration i posted above correct? Is A4000 3.1ROM, 68040 CPU the right configuration? Or is it better Amiga1200?

thanks, but i'm using FSUAE, WinUAE is quite different...
i think that i only have to choose the right kickstart file and fix some settings, as FSUAE is almost ready.
I don't know why, but as i previously said, the first time i ran the game, it correctly started! But it didn't detect joypad, so i restarted the emulator and then the game didn't started anymore...
But i don't need to configure WHDLOAD and so on, i'm pretty sure. Is there anyone who is running it on FSUAE like QUIZASERAQ ?

I tried using a kick40068.A4000 file as suggested into the site i lined in my first post, and this time i don't have any error, but i only have a black screen...probably it is necessary to change some settings...?

Hi legolas119,
I think the problem you are having is that you are trying to run the game directly from FS-UAE rather than installing a workbench environment and then installing whdload to run the game.
The video link given above shows how to install whdload and if you check the video uploader's channels he also has excellent videos on how to install a workbench on FS-UAE.

mm...but the video you linked above is referred to WinUAE, not to FS-UAE...i didn't find a tutorial for FS-UAE unfortunately :\

Where did u get the .lha? I bought mine directly from SPIELESCHREIBER!
FS-UAE database does not support yet whdload for that game. For me it runs without any whdload command. Or U should buy and try the iSO that works for me, too.

Onlye the joypad wasn't detected...so i restarted the emulator, i set up the joypad and after that...i wasn't able anymore to start the game...!!!! But i really don't know why it doesn't work anymore? The emulator and the game file are the same!

AmigaLive is the easiest way... after you purchase and download the lha.. dump the lha file (without decompressing it) under the AmigaLive front-end for FS-UAE as mentioned in the instructions/notes for the specific game configuration (found under the single-player games list), hit "start" and you are playing

hi, finally i'm able to run the game! probably i had a wrong kickstart A4000 file...i don't know. I tried with a different file with the right MD5 sum code and it works perfectly!
i only have a question: the .lha file of the game has 1.484 MB size. Is it normal a so little size? thanks!
