keypad enter key not working

I am playing Hisoft ProFlight tornado using the latest Winuae 64 on a Samsung RF711 laptop with nvidia and windows7
It is a mouse control game but I can use cursor keys in mission planning to put down way points etc . I want to arm weapons in the above sim and the instructions say use the Keypad enter but nothing happens when I do this
Any assistance will be helpful

Does it work if you boot to Workbench and open shell/cli window? It should work the same as "normal" enter/return key.

Or perhaps instructions are wrong or assume some specific keymap?

(Numpad zero and key next to it on right side are part of keyboard layout A joystick emulation but numpad enter should still work normally)

I have just about tried everything but no joy
There has to be a key that Arms the weapons other that the NumberPad enter one on my Laptop byt cannot find it after trying every key combination
It arms well enough in demo mode
Also,I have this sim on Atari st Steem emulator and the Numberpad Enter key does not arm the weapons on that too - even though it says in the manual that is the key to use

Perhaps it is PC version manual or something even weirder? (or bad crack?)

Sadly not - this game was only released for the Amiga and Atari

Hi, maybe your return - enter keys are switched or remapped (windows side).

Here, attached, is a small blitzbasic (PC) app to test which key it really is.

and this is it's sourcecode, if you would like to compile it:

Code:
Graphics 400,200,0,2
Graphics 50,14,0,3
SetBuffer BackBuffer()
AppTitle "Enter/Return test. Esc or space to end."
Repeat
a$=" "
If KeyDown(28) Then a$="Return"

If KeyDown(156) Then a$="Enter"
Cls
Text 0,0,A$

Delay 25
Flip
Until KeyDown(1) Or KeyDown(57)
The sourcecode is in the attachment as well.

on my tablet i have used the sharpkeys to remap the Enter key into Return.

Which game version? Perhaps your manual does not match game version? tosec seems to have 3 different versions. (1.5, 1.51, 2.0 and 3 different 2.0 cracks. But don't ask me!)

Thanks for all the inputs here
I have just about tried everything - downloaded every version of this game i can find
Tried every key combination under F12
Tried every key combination on my keyboard
Tried various versions on winuae and other amiga emulators
I hate admitting defeat but this has got me well and truly stumped

do you have windows 10 ? if yes, have you used the built in Touch Keyboard (on screen) and tested if return works over it ?

Did my app, to rest return or enter, gave the correct key names for the pressed keys ? return for the return and enter for the num-pad one ?

I am quite sure it has nothing to do with keyboard but if you want to 100% confirm it: click remap/test button in gameports or input panel, then click test again, then press numpad return. Check if matching Amiga key naming appears in bottom bar.

Toni!
Well done - its sorted
I did as you suggested using F12 and input using confiquration #1 and found that the numpad enter key deferred to the standard enter key .
So I changed the enter key to numpad enter key and the weapons armed.
Thank you so much

That was unexpected..

Did "normal" enter also become numpad return in emulation now? Perhaps your keyboard has some kind of optional numpad/normal key emulation mode that does this?
