@MrGimper I need a separate fs-uae.log.txt for both the cases (Blizzard1260 and BlizzardPPC) in order to look into it.

I've browsed through the last few pages of this thread, but apologies if this has been mentioned already and I've missed it.
Using 2.5.20.dev: I have a Workbench 3.1 hard drive setup (based on the Amiga Forever installation), and it works fine with "Amiga 1200 (68020)" selected - unless I enable Picasso96 Support together with Zorro III RAM (any amount). If I enable Zorro III RAM without Picasso96, it boots (but looks a mess), and if I enable Picasso96 without Zorro III RAM it boots (and is fine), but both enabled result in a completely blank grey screen (no mouse or anything). This behaviour has changed somewhere between 2.4.1 (where it boots fine with both enabled) and 2.5.20dev. This isn't a complaint - I love FS-UAE and am so very grateful for it's existence - but rather an observation that I hope will prove helpful for someone who needs this fixed. For my part, everything I want to do (mainly play WHDLoad games!) works fine without Zorro III RAM so I'm a happy bunny. |

@Mousey,
I had a similar problem with winuae, and I believe the reason is because A1200s don't actually have the ability to support zorro III RAM in real life. So the fact that it works at all with ZIII RAM is kind of a bug. Try changing to an a4000 setup and see if that works better for you. |

A1200 + Z3 boards work fine. Yes, it is "impossible" in real world but it does not matter unless you run non-m68k operating systems.

@Mosey please attach fs-uae.log.txt after having experienced the problem - log file also includes information about config options. (Bonus if you also upload a the log file for 2.4.x when it works).

@FrodeSolheim -
Just wanted to chime in on what an awesome job you've done. It's taken me about a day to get fs-uae 2.5.20.dev to compile properly along with fs-uae-launcher and fs-uae-arcade on my 64 bit linux setup, but I've also got the ppc plugins to compile and currently have a quite amazing 060/PPC emulated CWB 3.9 that I have my laptop set to boot directly into. Thanks! I basically have a 060/PPC Amiga laptop at my disposal now Once I figure out how to get the arrow keys to work, I'll be in business. Thanks again! |

@esc thanks, and you're welcome - To get the cursor keys working, simply connect a joystick/gamepad before starting FS-UAE, or specify "No host device" for the joystick port (by default, the cursor keys are used to emulated the primary joystick).

Cool, thanks! Works perfectly. Any way to put that in a system-specific configuration file? Preference is to not use the launcher for this purpose. Thanks again!
Also, one other question - Searching here and some googling has led me to the conclusion that AHI only works with Paula at this time. Is that the case? Or is there a uae sound card emulation built in for the purposes of gaming and such? Cheers! |

As I said, it's not a big deal to me, but if it can help someone else then great. |

A new development version has been released. Changes in FS-UAE 2.5.21dev:
Changes in FS-UAE Launcher 2.5.21dev:
The Windows version is now built using the excellent MSYS2 distribution. This distributions contains updated version of all requirements for FS-UAE and (almost) all requirements for FS-UAE Launcher & Arcade, including a Python version compiled with mingw. The end result is a build environment which is much easier to set up and use. I even made an easy-to-follow step by step tutorial for installing this environment and compiling the git version of FS-UAE on Windows. But, there is always a chance that the changes have introduced bugs in FS-UAE or FS-UAE Launcher, so please let me know if something which worked in 2.5.20dev is broken in 2.5.21dev. The OS X build environment has also been updated with newer library versions – so same here, please report any new issues in 2.5.21.dev, if any. |
