It finally happened: my Liberation CD died

It's old. Very old. But its time finally came today, when I placed it into the drive and it whirred, and clicked, and did nothing. My copy of Liberation: Captive II, the last surviving original-copy CD32 game I own and one of the first games I bought, has died.

And I mourn not just because it's a great game, but because I wanted to play it again, too. So... bum. What I'm asking is this: does anyone have or know where I can obtain a disc-image of the game? I regret not making an image when I could, but I foolishly believed that I wouldn't need to. What a fool I was.

Anyway, 'elp.

I also owned this game many moons ago and have just recently reaquired it, freezes in Winuae ( the mindscape logo sits there while the audio plays). Does it actually work in Winuae? Please help..

CD's don't die easily. Did you try with your pc ? You can also try disc salvaging programs to save it and make a copy. don't give up so easily.

I downloaded an ISO from the emule thing and it certainly crashed WinUAE (with the very same symptoms) but after toasting it on a real CD It worked OK in my real CD32.

I tried all sorts. I make no qualms about how poorly I treated my CDs back in the day. My copy of Liberation was scratched to buggery, and it's a wonder it lasted as long as it did.
