Its here ! (Pr0n Included, lots of it)

Thanks to twizzle I now have a working Miggy

Arrived at 9.30 am this morning... liked the "fragile" label.

Wooh... proper box

Unboxed

Lid off (Pr0n follows)

Motherboard is a 1D1 rev
Lots of swearing, and papercuts later (Bastard RF shield! )
Decided to dispense with aforementioned shield cos all the shiz wouldn't fit.

More swearing when I realised I hadn't connected things up properly. Eventually rectified and powered up... (lots more swearing at scandoubler, monitor cable, "No signal" messages etc )

And it all looks nice on my big monitor...

Last bit of swearing thus far was when I couldn't get my Accelerator card to use all memory... only seeing 8MB...

Reseated Card and memory chip:

All worky

Although I haven't tested Floppy drive and PCMCIA yet. Hard disk is sitting on top of scandoubler with a bit of plastic between the two (part of the tray my BGA Ram sinks came in lol Not ideal for heat etc, but will do for now... at least it means I can close the case.....

I'm knackered... lol

cheers

Andrew

Did you draw it yourself ?

Now trying to coax floppy drives to read EASY ADF to install to PCMCIA... no joy, keep getting read/write errors

Weirdly I managed to get The PCMCIA drivers installed but EASY ADF wont play. I can however see my CF card on the amiga.... so... could some nice soul either upload or email the software so I can install by shoving it on my cf card ?

Use TSGui, while you wait for a new EasyADF disk. I you really need it.

Ty for linky will grab a copy.

Next noob Q... is the floppy drive supposed to click constantly as if its waiting for a disk ?
if so is it possible to turn this off as it is mildly irritating ?

It is, but there are tools like "noclick". Put it into WBstartup.

if you look in your wbstartup you will find NClick click on it then put this

Nclick ?
you can add it at the end of your startup-sequence before IFEXIST S-userstartup-sequence of just after ENDIF ,between resident execute remove,
or you can add it to your user-s-s
its active when ever you switch on, and will automaticly declick any floppy drive attached

Last Pr0n (Software only tho lol )

Or should that be Lotus II Pr0n ?

And the obligatory SwoS 96-97 Pr0n, because it would be rude not to

Don't know why KG's Game pack versions don't work. These are the WHDL versions (I was using them in Winuae, and dumped the folders straight to CF) and they seem to work fine.....

Still need to sort out Classic WB, although getting there.... can transfer files To and From PC with CF card..... sooo.

Anyways thats enough for one night
