Help solution Rev 5 A500 Motherboard Pistorm

Hey Guys, Quick question. Bought an A500 with a rev5 Motherboard. Yeah didn't know that rev 5 needs a special "Amiga 500 Revision 5 EPROM Adapter" to accept flashed new roms of 3.2.2.
I also bought a Pistorm including 3.2.2 kickrom and relocater and a SD card which is preinstalled with 3.2.2 and software.

So I added the adapter, and now it cannot mount the Pistorm or relocater anymore because the EPROM adapter is in the way now :P

any solutions, what to do?

OK, I'm going back a long time here but when I upgraded my Rev5 A500 from Kickstart 1.3 to 2.0 (also 512K, like 3.x) I didn't use an adapter I just ran a wire under the rom between 2 pins.

No resistor pullups, no soldering, I just wedged a bit of wire in the sockets and stuck in the ROM.

This would have been 1993/1994 and my electronics knowledge and access to tools was limited!

That A500 is long lost so maybe someone else knows?

Not my area of expertise (I have a 1200 with PiStorm32lite) but if you are running a pistorm then you might not need to change your A500 ROMs - the pistorm will load 3.2.2.1 from your uSD and use that instead of your onboard ROM.

Have you tried that?
