Pixels missing in window (WinUAE 4.2.1)
When running WinUAE in a window there is a black bar a few pixels high on the bottom. When I move a window down there, the pixels of the window are also missing in that area.
Tried it also in full screen mode, and it's the same there. Any fix for that? |

Not enough information. But note that last visible scanline can't have any graphics data, only background color. (Chipset feature/bug)

Toni, I suppose he is referring to this:
Before 4.2.1 the window is normal: Unrelated to last (in)visible line, these black row are 'outside' of the Amiga frame. |

Possibly but still not enough information. (config file at least)

ross, isn't that due to having vertical centering on.
Switch this off and you'll get image 2 ![]() |

I have attached the screenshot and the settings. Centerings was already off. I tried to switch it on and off, but there is no visble effect.
As you can see, there is the black bottom, as ross already pointed out, and when I move the window from the WB down to the bottom, the last (or so) lines are also not painted properly. Internally it seem to work correct with the full display though, because when I move the mousepointer in that hidden area, it still works even though one can not see it. |

Can't duplicate. Tried without config (and without default.uae). No black bar.
Attached config is not that useful because it requires HD. Too many unknown variables but at least A1000 insert disk screen filled whole window. No black bar here either. EDIT: Ah, only happens if >100% scaling. It seems bottom bar size is miscalculated because "minimal" window mode does not have this problem. |

Fixed. For some reason I took DPI in account when calculating status bar size but Windows does it internally and automatically. Perhaps this was done before I added different GUI DPI support. (Also fixed moving emulation window to other monitor with different DPI, status bar size was not recalculated correctly)

Can you also do something about the debugger GUI? (yes, I know, not supported.. ![]() Before these changes in DPI in 4.2.1 it worked right (now the chars position are.. wrong). (I can add an image, only later tonight, if you want). |

Problem is that DPI support is now letting Windows do the right thing automatically. Previously WinUAE did most of the calculations internally because "per monitor dpi aware v2" didn't exist. Old version sucked.
Debugger GUI assumes normal pixel mapping and mixes different ways to output things, some take DPI in account, some don't. Result is a mess. Not sure if this is easily fixed. (and it is also unsupported) |

Is this fixed in git only or for download somewhere?

I think I have previously said something about "It does not work" replies..
I switched it to "UNAWARE" and it still looks correct, like in previous update, even at 200%. |

The black border is now gone, but the last lines are still missing. If you open a shell window and move it down, you can see this (as shown in my previous screenshot).
