paths

Toni! I can't understand something! Why all newer versions of WinUAE use the same config file? I have five beta versions of WinUAE. When I set, for example, in WinUAE 1.5.1 b7 in "Paths" a path to configuration files, every version of WinUAE, which I have, uses the same paths. But I set this path only for one version! Can I disable this annoying feature ?
And second: I can't save my time preferences under OS 3.9 in WinUAE beta versions. I suppose this is with this config paths associated...

Hi OSH,

create an empty file with the name 'WinUAE.ini' in the same path with the WinUAE.exe (do this for all versions). Now the settings you choose are stored local and not global
Btw : I don't think this is beta related (at least not only the current one )

Huh? Paths have always been global since Paths-panel was introduced (and before paths-panel they didn't really exist)

What do you mean by time preferences? Time always comes from host-side, it has never been possible to save time in Amiga-side.

By local I mean they are stored in the Ini file and not in the registry (and then used from the Ini at the next start).
