CDTV (A570) game problems

From WinUAE beta thread:

Quote:
Cedric and the Lost Sceptre (1996)(Neo)(en-de)[M-8793]
Uses KS 2.0+ Assign-command in startup-sequence. Does work if KS 2.0 is used (+2.x CDTV ROM). Weird combination, CDTV bootable but needs KS 2.x...

Team Yankee (1995)(Almathera)[!][compilation Ten On Ten][K-7407]
Confirmed. Drive command 0x89 seems to return incorrect data, investigating..
EDIT: Also confirmed it causing exact same red screen on an A570. Perhaps it is not an emulation bug after all..

Quote:
Defender of the Crown (1991)(CDTV Publishing)[!]
Freezes on title screen until audio CD music ends (exact same under beta WinUAE CDTV emulation, after CD audio end detection was fixed..)

Can someone with real CDTV test these games and possibly confirm the problem? (either CD image problem or A570 compatibility isn't good enough)

CDTV arrived (thanks everyone!)

Unfortunately it didn't really solve any problems...

Does the exact same on real CDTV. "red screen" immediately after booting.. It does say it is confirmed image ([!] in name) but I am not so sure anymore..

No difference in this game either. Need to wait until title audio track ends. (but why does it work "better" in CD32? No need to wait..)

Anyway, it appears emulation works just fine

Team Yankee problem solved. "Ten on Ten" compilation is weird.

Only first CD is CDTV/CD32 bootable ("Comms & Networking CD") which sets some kind of boot program that survives reset and allows other CDs to boot...
