Is Lightwave 3D only for FPU Amigas?

I am using Lightwave 3.5, however I have noticed that all the later versions of Lightwave 4 and 5 available on the eab file server are the FPU versions. Did NewTek stop making none-FPU versions of Lightwave for the Amiga? If not is there any place where the none-FPU versions can be downloaded? Thanks in advance

Thanks mate! It was bugging me for a while, I guess time to find an accelerator for the A1200 with an FPU.

There are a couple of nice boards floating about in various shops. The ones that might work for you only add the FPU and ram along with other small features. Then if you want serious acceleration, use WinUAE on your PC.

Thanks I managed to find a board on this forum that can accept an FPU, now just need to find a FPU that is compatible with the Typhoon card. It is crazy, I am looking back at the images I used to do on Lightwave back in the day, I have forgotten so much of how to use Lightwave.

I only used Lightwave once and then it was on PC, I think version 6 or 7. I have always loved it though. Great package. I hope it does not die a death and keeps on going. I hope to be playing with it later this year after some other projects are completed.
