How can you all say this! I guess you guys have never used an Apple IIGS nor seen its insides. The entire computer has 0 screws. In other words, you can completely take it apart without a single tool. Now that's pretty f'n awesome design.

The most beautiful computer is between the Amiga 500/1000/3000 desktop.
But... the nicest looking Apple is the IIC http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/3...leiiclarge.jpg |

Mac is not a computer, it is an appliance.
Horrible, look like a bunch of bricks. Number 1 Amiga 1200 Number 2 Amiga 3000 Number 3 Atari ST / Falcon Number 4 ZX-81 |

You gotta give the Japanese some credits for making probably 2 of the sexiest home computers ever, and what great machines they were inside too:
The Fujitsu FM Towns Oh yes my good man, yes! And now with all due respect and the fact beauty's subjective being granted, you should now see your poor Apple IIGS as the stack of ugly beige bricks it really is |

I personally find old Macs to be quite ugly and boring/unimpressive looking
The Commodore CBM-II had quite a nice "space age" look for it's time period.... I quite like it's bold and rounded/curved styling |

The Commodore C-16 was a very nice looking machine, they should have done the C64 up like that.
Now this is one hell of a good looking machine to me: http://www.hpmuseum.net/images/400swMonitor-39.jpg |

God that delicious!
I love Cray's - and yes.... I have asked the wife..... she said only after I move out.... I also said that the Argon cooling tank could double as a fish tank.... at that point I got "the look"... so I shall ask again later Quote:
I would of loved to of seen a lorenzo styled CBM machine... that would be fantastic! |
