Cheers! Happy birthday.
Here's what Antony Crowther told me when I posed the question. Don't get your hopes up… Q. The game was revised for the retail release. Do you remember what changed and why? A. I can't remember what was different for the retail version except we added the Atari ST version. I don't believe anything was cut from the original design. And we worked hard to ensure that was the case. Link to the full article… https://archive.org/details/antony-c...et-dreamkatcha |

According to this thread Captain Planet was bundled with the A500 Cartoon Classics Pack, not an A600 Pack.

Seems one of my dumps also has a bad track 23.0 as a CT RAW in WHDLoad errors on track 46 in WinUAE, this is from one of my dumps from the Cartoon Classics release. So, is it a known mastering error on some batches as it does stop the game from loading the 1st level?

Came across another dump that has a bad track 23.0, so it appears there were problems with some duplicator runs of this game!
Perhaps the slave should ignore the error on that track if found and replace it with a good track? Last edited by BarryB; 10 December 2022 at 16:52. |

From a preservation angle it's a mess!
But replacing Track 23.0 from a good dump and creating an IPF in Disk-Utilities it installs fine in WHDLoad, so it can't be 'dirty' enough to stop the data being read? |

Seeing as it's the 17th copy of this disk I have it's not not really a problem
