Although as I know C= never supplied them, Miami Vice had many an episode with an Amiga...first the A1000 and then the A2000.

Then they went with Macs I think at the end.

Wouldn't be surprised if Russell had an Amiga growing up. I keep meeting people our age who it turns out owned an Amiga 600.

Amiga was used (by the actor) in Stepfather horror series, I think I saw A500 with handy scanner in Stepfather 2 and 3

I found an Amiga... game, in Zombieland: Double Tap. It's definitely the Amiga version, that's obvious.

I think they missed a trick to make Amiga the dominant computer of the future in Bladerunner 2049. They brought back other dead companies like Pan-Am

Ryan Gosling did have a pretty great "amiga" in that film even so (Anna De Armas)

Atari ruled the future in the original Blade Runner.

No, it was a totally unrealistic future where deluded fanboys' imagined that the CD32 was the best / most capable Amiga of all time

...wait, hold on, that's actually happened quite recently

Amiga isn't quite the iconic, universally-recognised brand that Atari is. I've never seen anyone outside the Amiga community buying or wearing an Amiga t-shirt, but plenty who wear Atari shirts who aren't actually in the Atari retro community.

I'm struggling to see what benefit there might have been for the filmmakers or the audience outside a very small niche, to have Amiga as a major brand.

As long as the police of that future reality do their job and tell people to stop calling other people mentally ill because they think their A1200 is better....

Newsflash, Gilbert: CD-ROM is overrated. Those FMV games rightfully went the way of the dodo, and it wasn't quick enough to do so.
