WANTED: Original, boxed copy of Worms: The Director's Cut

I'm hoping to snag a boxed copy of Worms: The Director's Cut. I'll be honest - my plan is to put it in a very nice boxframe as a display piece.

Some background: When the original Worms came out for the Amiga, a friend of my dad's got it for his birthday in January '96. My dad and I bonded over it, and playing the game together was something we did often. When the demo for WormsDC dropped later that year, we played the three levels it came with to death over and over again.

He ended up separating from my mum and moving to the US the following year. In '98, I saw a copy of WormsDC on sale in Electronics Boutique for £15, and I snatched it up.

In 2007, I moved to America myself. I didn't bring my copy of WormsDC with me. In 2009, I heard the box had been damaged. Last I heard, it was thrown out with a bunch of my mum's stuff after she passed away.

Of course, I can play WormsDC both in WinUAE and in the A1200 I have now. But I don't own a physical copy. I'd very much like to have one to display, but being a game that didn't sell particularly well it is shockingly hard to come by. I almost never see it on eBay, and when I do it tends to be unboxed.

If anybody out there is willing to part with their copy, do please reach out. It will be well taken care of, prominently displayed, and dearly loved.

It's not the original Game, but it would be Ideal to hang on the Wall all the same....

And good luck finding it squirminator2k, I can vouch for you being a big fan as I have seen many of your youtube vids on worms in particular!

Alas, the link Kin Hell sent me was for a piece of metal wall art - there's a lot of that on eBay, tons of bootleg WormsDC keychains, jigsaws and wall art, but no actual boxed copies of the game at present.

EAB may not be has strict as Amibay but one of the rules applied to this forum is all eBay links must be shared in the “eBay links” part of the forum under marketplace
