Please I am going out of my mind

I need help.

I just want to play the whd load of Might and Magic 3 isles of terra.

I bought cloanto amiga forever and I have WINUAE.

I have downloaded 4 different whd versions and a LHA file???

I drag the whd load onto workbench 3.x and it works but its all corrupt, try to go to a new town get error message/crash, Map bugs, Walls messed up etc.

I found a bugreport where somone said its about the maxtrans rate? What the hell is that? He changed it and it fixed it.

Dragging LHA file onto amiga forever throws up error messages etc. I just want to play I am about to cry or at least smash my laptop.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME

whdload version of this game is not working ie broken
maybe works with an old whdload version but Im lazy to investigate
play the game from floppies or install it on hardisk using the original game installer

these RPG games are all hardisk installable but I could be wrong in this case
insert disk 1 on workbench and look for the install icon

Very good suggestions here, playing from floppy is sure the way to go. Not to forget that the game is manual protected.

This indeed sounds like a problem with the MaxTransfer settings. These can be changed in HDToolBox. See here for further explanations.
