Heya Someone else to remeber Oids It was one of my fav games back then and I remeber that I myself started a conversion to Amiga but I got stuck after a while (I wasn´t an experienced coder back then) and stopped the project .... maybe I´ll find some time again in the future ....

Porting ST games
I had a look at the Atari ST version of Super Sprint to see what kind of work would be involved to convert it to the Amiga. The first part of the cracked game (on ST) is crunched with Bytekiller so I was able to get at the game code.
However, it's full of Atari ST specific shit, trap's everywhere and at that point I had to leave it. If it had been more modularly written it's possible that a conversion could have been done but unfortunately I don't have the knowledge to do it. |

So it wasn't standard C or 68k, but a lot of calls to the ST's rom routines I bet

Thats a damn shame. I had some cracking good track times in Super Sprint....really played it to death and Oids had me hooked for months. Both forgotten classics.
