Outrun adfs

Hello,

I'm looking for Outrun Sega version .adf file (normal; not extended) ;
and the later, "enchanced" version of Outrun .adf file.
The file(-s) should be as clean / original, as possible.

I do know there are several versions of the game (Amiga v);
and the game seems to use some kind of custom disk format (copy protection ?).
I have searched for the files on TOSEC; but in addition to some .ipf files,
there seems to only be a few cracked versions (with crack intros/trainers etc !?)
What I'm searching for, is a version of Outrun that doesn't have any crack intros etc on the disk, but does go directly to the game loader.

Could any of the Outrun .ipf files be transferred directly to .adf format, without any additional hardware (Kryoflux ?) ?
Possible in normal PC ?!

This version from the Tosec collection has no intro, but is cracked:
Out Run (1988)(U.S. Gold)[cr QTX]
It loads directly into the game. The only difference to the original is in the credits (instead of "Played by you" it says "Cracked by Quartex".)

What do you mean with "enhanced" version? Cannonball - the arcade conversion?

Yes, you can convert .ipf to .adf on any PC.
But the copy protection will stop you from playing the game. ADFs cannot save the copyprotection data.
Additional hardware is needed if you want to transfer an .ipf to a floppy disk.

You can convert IPF files in to HFEv3 to be used in a Gotek. Or use Greaseweazle to write them on to floppy disk.

(You can't convert any IPF with copy protection to ADF).

The version has a lowering music volume problem.
(When you play once music enabled, sfx disabled.
When you start a new game again, the music volume level gets very low.)
Is that a "feature" or bug ?!
Also present in the original older release of the game ?
