winUAE slows down system and crashes at emulation startup with Logitech G15, but...
Hello!
When I want to start the emulation (the gui runs fine) my computer hangs up extremely and the emulator freezes and crash some minutes later. I use Windows XP sp2. In my last installation this fault not happened. Last days I bought a new harddisk (sata), which replaced my old hdd. (ide). Everything goes fine, exept winUAE. (newest version, I tried older ones >1.3, but even no luck) But: When I disconnect the G15 keyboard from the computer and connect it again, winUAE runs perfect. After reboot I need to do this again to run winUAE. Any suggestions to fix this problem? Thank you! ------ Some specs of my system: Athlon x2, 3800+ asus a8n sli premium 2 gb ram nvidia geforce 7600 gs 500 gb sata harddisk, with the following partitions: 1 ext3 1 swap 1 ntfs 1 crypted (truecrypt) 1 fat32 |

Perhaps it's an incompatibility with the Logitech Software that comes with the G15 Keyboard and WinUAE.
I wonder if Toni even has a G15 to test with ?!? |
