These are the schematics for a 1:1, should be more accurate than amigawiki.

I removed the original design from Github. The design on Github is 100% working.

The confusion about the serial port came from myself. On my board, I have no working serial port as the CPU cannot access the custom chips. It's on my todo list to find out why.

Plan to try the bandpass filter tomorrow, my test kit at home can just cover the frequencies I need to generate.

Great, thanks a lot guys for all the hard work . Is it possible to add the BOM on Github for the gerber release?

Nice work. i am going to try again on this s-video one and see how it comes out here. Its nice to have a working board at last. Just about all of the Amiga models are now covered between this, the ones from Chucky and myself!

Here's the BOM I made but it's likely not the cheapest parts and there may a couple of quantity errors.

I am going to build one, I’ve sent the s-video design to JLCPCB. I have an A600 v1.3 with severe capacitor damage, which I can use as a donor. My boards will be black with ENIG finish. Looking forward to revive this machine on a brand new PCB. Great work!

Of course, first the boards need to arrive. Then I need to order components and desolder the custom chips. Going to be a nice project.

Did you receive the parts and had a chance to populate the pcb, redhawk?

These are the Gerbers I used if stedy's uploads are confusing people. I don't know why he didn't just upload the latest files by themselves instead of muddying the water with an older (and much earlier/inferior) revision even he can't get working.

I was going to give a1200 a try but I was hoping to get one of kippers keyboards first.

Any update on replacement BPF/DL?

Hi,

Sorry for lack of updates, new job and a few other changes, anyway. The bandpass filter did not work, I was 3dB down (1/2 power) at the pass band. Have not had the time to go back to it, to see what I did wrong. Also need to knock up an improved sig-gen as mine only runs upto 5 MHz, a bit limited for 4.3MHz filters. I have a DDS module, just need to add the code/blocks.

The A600 has gone on hold again, I mainly work project winter time as it gives me more to do. Not sure why custom chip access was not working, knowing what does not work is half the problem solved.

My Github should have the latest Kicad and gerbers for the S-video variant. Have some files to check-in soon, I'll verify it all in one session.

Unfortunately not. I switched jobs and that has consumed some of my time. I hope to get back into the project soon.

Wow, great work Boboo . Are you going to release it for puplic?

...hm, still nobody has built one of them yet, so still not 100% sure if they are really working ...will be interesting, who's the first one building a working one of those replikas "officially"

Hi,
Would like to share that I build the A600 S-Video version of post #472 from Mick.

I transplanted most possible from an old rev.1.5 mainboard and used the older CXA1145 , which is fine for me as I only using RGB anyways....
Not tested is S-video & Composite (not work with cxa1145) , parallel port is still pending.....

All others seems to work fine....

I saved my old A600 with a lot of burnt traces ,Im really happy with this

Would like to thank Mick, for the creating this A600 replica version.. And all the effort he put in to this project.

The only problem with replicating the 2A Boboo is I believe from looking closely at them that it was a pre-production version (unfinished), if you compare it to a 2B it's largely the same but there are corrections to missing VIA's and other minor differences. Lots of changes near the ROM area mostly.

The Sony chip isn't needed for RGB it's just for composite/s-video and 1145 will never work because it's missing iref/vref and the delay lines/band pass filter (which I'm sure someone will make replacements for any day now)...

edit: no wait sorry it is needed for RGB on A600, I was thinking of A1200.
