Cool Space Hulk remake

Anyone played this Space Hulk remake?

Quote:
This project started as a tribute to Games Workshop and the old Space Hulk computer game released in 1993. Version 1.0 of our game was released early February 2008, but was later pulled back due to license issues [...]

If anyone's interested, it's all over the net, just type "spacehulk_full_v1_0.zip" in google, I've got it from here.

Again nice find m8!

I tried to get the game, but Ich schprache keine Deutch. (or something like that ) And then again, have to enable scripts on the page so that they can open new browser window and place some nice pics on it.

I know, but still I feel bad as I forgot all German I knew.

Now, we have to look for 1.1 with better AI.

Wasn't we supposed to help him with his boredom?
Have you managed to get the game fullscreen? Looks really nice, but I don't want to lower my desktop resolution to be able to play it properly

Send a message via ICQ to lilalurl
Open resolution.sh and change 1 to 2, you'll get a larger resolution.
I suppose it's the basic resolution x2, so you can probably try x3 (or x4 etc...) if your monitor supports it.

Very promising, thanks for pointing this remake out.

Send one to M$ and they've fixed it already.

So, anyone got hold of the 1.1 version?

Not according to the authors, but ja, I know what you mean, technically the engine is like taken from Space Crusade.

I'm still with Space Hulk - because the authors say so officially.
I've seen 2D remakes of Hlaf-Life 2 or Portal but that doesn't make them Turrican wannabies.

How about this for some proof?
