Total Amiga Assembler - Paul Overaa
This seems to be the book to have, but despite searching for a while I can't find one
Anybody interested in putting a spare copy up for sale? Is there a softcopy version about? Cheers Anding |

Hi Hit,
I thought I had hit the jackpot with that - thank you. But it turns out the website is about 8 years old and the company long since bankrupt or sold or something, unless I'm mistaken. I emailed them a while back but it bounced and then I did some research. Still it gives me confidence that the books ought to be around somewhere! |

@prowler - looks like a hopeful site. Thanks very much. Their front page was last modified in 2005 and they are advertising AF2005 edition as brand new, but I e-mailed them and we can see what happens!
@redgate - that's a great idea on the disks. I'm sure many people who have the book might have lost the disks. |

@ Anding - Last year I tried ordering the book from SoftwareHut.
The first time nothing happened and the second time I placed an order I got a mail saying that they don't sell it anymore. I'm not that big a fan of SoftwareHut, the only other thing I bought from them, a copy of DPaint V, turned out to be a copied version when it arrived even though it's advertised as new on their site... |

I got my copy from Amazon, a year back (brand new too).
Great book, although it concentrates mainly on system-friendly stuff. |

If someone want to scan it, this would be a good book for the whole amiga community that wants to programming the Miggy, as it is no longer to sale..

It's a good book (I have it as well as his C book). Unfortunately I'm still going through it (on chapter 6)...

Yes, One of the better assembler books for amiga, and it was release quite late in the amigas lifecycle (95) so it's pretty up to date. Do you have the total amiga c or the mastering amiga c one?

Thanks Jonathan. I had not expected this to show up exactly 7 years to the month after posting the original thread!
