WinFellow 'alpha v0.4.4 build 3' released

Gentlemen, a new snapshot release of WinFellow, named 'alpha v0.4.4 build 3', is available for download via:
http://fellow.abime.net/new_version/index.php

The improvements are:

Fixed crash when enabling exact vertical pixel doubling or interlace compensation

WinFellow would crash after enabling exact vertical pixel doubling and/or interlace compensation. This has been fixed.
File access has been made Vista/Windows 7 compatible

WinFellow will now perform file operations at the appropriate location in case of Vista & Windows 7. You can use WinFellow correctly when having guest account access on Vista and/or Windows 7.

No, not actively. Coding for (Win)Fellow has our (Petter, Carfesh & myself) interest, but other tasks in our lives have a higher priority.
Our focus for WinFellow is to maintain a working version for the Windows platform.

What happened to the project to rewrite Fellow's sources in platform-independent C? (Conversion of assembly code to C code)
I believe there's mostly the CPU emulation left to convert.

This could potentially be very useful for mobile devices such as PSP, where UAE implementations can suffer slowdowns.
A port of Fellow would likely be much faster, even if largely re-written in C.
(Custom chipset emulation has already been mostly rewritten, and is still much faster than WinUAE on low-end PCs.)
