Also, I mentioned these in my little thread already, but just for quick clarification...

Brian the Lion (1994)(Psygnosis)(Disk 3 of 3).adf = Ports of Call disk, with errors.
Blastar (1993)(Core)(Disk 3 of 3)[cr FLT].adf = Woody's World disk (unsure of which one).
Blastar (1993)(Core)(Disk 2 of 3)[cr Triton].adf = Actually Disk 3. Appears to be identical to original's third disk.

Make that not-really-all-that-playable demo, as it seems to freeze on a black screen after clicking past the Level 1 info! Will compare with The One's coverdisk version and see if anything's been changed...

In the meantime....

Rod-Land v1.3 (1991)(Storm)[cr CSL][a8].adf = contains a +1 trainer by The Goonies instead of a Crystal cracktro.

EDIT: Just became aware that the Goonies version exist in multiple forms also, heh. The above disk appears to be nearly 100%-identical to:

with the exception of "LICENSED FROM JALECO" being replaced with "IMPORT BY FAST EDDIE".

Oh, and for Crashdisk....

Hired Guns disk 1 (1).adf = Uncracked.
Hired Guns disk 1 (2).adf = Bad crack.
Hired Guns disk 1 (3).adf = Good crack.
Hired Guns disk 1 (4).adf = Bad crack.
Hired Guns disk 1 (5).adf = Uncracked.

Again, this was from just decrunching the "Hired Guns" file and comparing checksums and (if necessary) doing hex comparisons.

Can you recall where you got these disks from btw?

I assume their CRC32s match nothing in the TOSEC set.

by the way, is the "Loons" crack really bad at all?
if i remember right, there was a problem with the HD installed game only.
A HD-install script fix was also available in those days.

If you're referring to Hired Guns then yes, the Loons crack doesn't work properly since they didn't remove all protections. Once you saved your game several times the game kills your save games f.e.

Any version I've specified as a "good crack" is a good one, since they all use the same exe as one another.

The [a] ADF is basically the (original?) trainerless version.

BTW, I'm pretty sure Pinball Prelude is a 1996 game? Bit funny to have the AGA version as '95 and ECS as '96.

It was not uncommon that AGA version has been released first.
According to scene release dates, the AGA version has been released before ECS version.
